Rachel and Sarah got a new bed from their grandparents - a bunkbed! Daddy set it up and they quickly decided that Sarah got the top and Rachel got the bottom bunk. They love playing on it! The bunkbed has already become a rocket ship, a trap, an animal rescue vehicle, a fishing spot, and of course, a jungle gym. Going to sleep wasn't the easiest, because of the many adventures they could have on their new toy, but eventually they both fell asleep in their own beds. My major worry is that my crazy, adventurous, and fairly accident prone 2 year old will dive off the top and land herself in the emergency room again. But, Sarah is a little more conservative and careful so hopefully will keep Rachel from doing anything too crazy. It will be a great space saver in our little U of U on-campus apartment that we're moving into in August. Thank you grandma and grandpa for sharing!
Yeah for bunkbeds! chris had one growing up and I was always a little jealous. We played on it a ton. No one got hurt...I think. They look adorable with their "bed head" hair.
